The hilarious things the children I teach have said.

One expensive coffee!

This morning, I stopped in at a cafe near work to grab a coffee. Upon returning to my car, it would not start. The batter was flat. Dead. Empty. NOTHING.

This hasn’t happened to me. I got my gorgeous car nearly five years ago and there’s nothing wrong with it. I called a trusty roadside assistance group to come and rescue me. They come out for free, but charge for the battery. Turns out, this coffee I stopped for was the most expensive coffee of my life. The battery cost me $190! Ouch!!!

The children asked why I was running late and looked like I couldn’t find my Mummy. Upon telling them what I had to do, I was told,

“Those are the consequences when you don’t charge and look after your belongings Miss Rainbow!”

Gee, thanks, kid.
